MADRID, 11 Nov. (Portaltic / EP) –
Asus has alerted the increase of sites, emails and instant communication applications unofficial and unauthorized that impersonate the identity of the company in campaigns that seek to deceive and defraud users.
The technological manufacturer has recalled the official channels that it has at the disposal of the brand’s users in order to prevent them from falling into online fraud attempts, being its official website, the website of its ROG video game division and its digital store the main ones.
This action is due to the increase detected by Asus of unofficial and unauthorized instant communication sites, platforms, web channels, emails and applications that attempt to impersonate the company, as reported in a statement sent to Europa Press.
For this reason, Asus recommends that users go only to their official websites to avoid these online fraud attempts. For any questions from users, Asus offers its free Customer Service phone number (932938154), available from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 20:00, except national holidays. Also, you can contact ASUS through its support page: www.asus.com/es/support
From Asus they assure that they continue with the “firm commitment” to combat these fraud attempts, and adopt the necessary measures to avoid any practice of this type. They have already notified all this to the relevant entities in the Spanish territory.
