Argentina returns to Buenos Aires and already receives the enormous affection of its fans

The Argentine soccer team landed this Tuesday morning at the Ezeiza airport, in Buenos Aires, and was able to see live the madness that has been unleashed in the country after the conquest of the World Cup in Qatar last Sunday.

Although it is scheduled that the players and coaching staff of the ‘Albiceleste’ have the official celebration with their fans in the afternoon, they populated, despite the hours and taking advantage of the fact that the government has ruled that Tuesday is a holiday, the streets of the capital to entertain their champions on their journey in an open-top bus to their resting place.

The Aerolíneas Argentinas plane that, according to the Argentine media, crossed an arc of water thrown by two fire trucks as a tribute, landed at the Buenos Aires airport around 2:30 a.m. local time, and Captain Leo Messi, with the precious Jules Rimet cup in their hands, and the coach Lionel Scaloni, the first to descend from the ship.

On land, the authorities and the rock group ‘La Mosca’ were waiting for them, who received them performing the song ‘Muchachos’, which has become a hymn both in the locker room and in the stands of Qatari stadiums and in the streets of the country.

Later, after walking a red carpet and crossing an arch with the message ‘Thank you Champions’, they got on an open-top bus from where they were able to greet and receive the love of their fans who thronged the streets and who have been celebrating almost rest since Sunday the first world title in 36 years. The players arrived at their resting place after 4:00 a.m. and there they will gather energy for the party that is being prepared in the Plaza del Obelisco in the capital.
