Another three envelopes with animal eyes were intercepted at the Ukrainian embassy and at the Barcelona and Malaga consulates

MADRID, Dec. 5 (.) –

The National Police have once again intercepted a new shipment of envelopes with animal eyes to Ukrainian diplomatic offices in Spain. On this occasion, in addition to being addressed to the embassy of the country invaded by Russia, another shipment to the consulate in Barcelona and Malaga has also been detected, according to police sources.

It was on the morning of this Monday when these three suspicious envelopes were detected and intercepted by the security systems of the Post Office. The Police have ruled out the presence of explosive or explosive substances, verifying that what they contained were animal eyes.

Already last week, envelopes with animal eyes were intercepted at the Ukrainian embassy in Madrid and at other diplomatic offices in this country.

The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Oleg Nikolenko, has confirmed the seizure of these three envelopes, quantifying 21 cases in which this type of threat has been sent to diplomatic offices in 12 countries.

In this context, Nikolenko has pointed out that Ukrainian diplomats should not be intimidated or broken by these threats. “We will continue to work effectively to protect Ukraine from the enemy and from our victory,” he proclaimed.
