A young man is arrested in the south of the United Kingdom for throwing eggs at King Charles III

MADRID, Dec. 6 (.) –

A young man in his 20s has been arrested this Tuesday in Luton, in the south of the United Kingdom, on suspicion of throwing an egg at King Charles III of England, according to the Bedfordshire County Police.

It is the second time that the British monarch has faced a situation of this type, after a little less than a month ago, a 23-year-old student was arrested after throwing eggs at him and Queen Camilla when they visited the city of York to unveil a statue honoring the late Queen Elizabeth II.

The monarch was shaking hands with a lively crowd that came to greet him despite the cold, when the eggs flew over the area. As on that occasion in York, none of them hit the monarch, who was removed from the place by his security services.

Shortly after the incident, Carlos III has met with several civil society leaders, inaugurated a Sijh temple and even used a new train line that connects the city center with the airport, reports the BBC.
