A Spanish tourist dies in the explosion at the Hotel Saratoga in Havana

MADRID, May 7. (EUROPE PRESS) –

A Spanish tourist has died from the explosion that caused serious damage to the Hotel Saratoga in Havana on Friday, according to diplomatic sources who have also confirmed that a man of Spanish nationality is seriously injured.

The Cuban authorities have reported more than twenty deaths from the explosion, initially attributed to a gas leak and which caused damage throughout the area, adjacent to the old part of the Cuban capital.

The emergency services have continued to work throughout the night at the scene, looking for new bodies and even possible survivors, according to official media.
