MADRID, Sep. 19 (.) –
A Russian journalist was injured this Monday due to an artillery attack by the Ukrainian Army against the town of Svatovo, located in the self-proclaimed People’s Republic of Lugansk (east), as reported by the pro-Russian authorities in the region.
The Joint Center for Control and Coordination has pointed out that “as a result of the attack on the city of Svatovo with the use of an American multiple launch rocket system (HIMARS), a journalist from the Federal News Agency has been injured”, without that for the moment has transcended his identity.
“The Vatra hotel has been left in ruins and seven houses and a shop have been damaged,” the agency reported, as reported by the Russian news agency TASS. Russia and Ukraine have not yet commented on the incident.
